We care about your safety so please read the following information to get the best out of our beautiful candles.
Trim the wick to around 0.6 - 1cm before the first burn. It is recommended you regularly trim the wick before use.
You should burn your candle until the wax has melted all the way to the glass edge and a wax pool has formed.
Don't burn the last 2cm of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.
Use a candle snuffer if you have one to put out your candle.
You can also put out your candle by dipping the wick into the wax pool with a pencil or wick dipper.
Before the wax solidifies, reposition the wick vertically ready for the next burn.
Don't leave your burning candle unattended.
Don't burn your candle on or near anything that is flammable.
Keep your candle out of the reach of children and pets.
Don't leave your candle in a hot car or in direct sunlight.

Keep the wax pool of your candle free of wick & match debris.
Burn your candles away from drafts, vents and ceiling fans.
Always burn your candle in a well ventilated room.

Cotton wicks will mushroom after burning, trim the wick before relighting.

Make sure your candle is completely out before leaving the room.
Never use your candle as a night light.
Use a candle snuffer or wick dipper to extinguish your candle where possible.

When grouping candles please leave enough room (around 10cm) between candles so that the candles burn properly.
Votives & Tealights
Votive & tealight candles should only be burned in a votive or tealight holder.
The votive candle melts when burning and does not hold its own wax pool.
Place the votive & tealight holder on a level heat resistant surface and follow the safety instructions as above.
